Tajani: Italy and the Czech Republic will strengthen cooperation
Brussels, January 29 (Hibya) – Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met in Brussels with his Czech counterpart Petr Macinka and announced that they had decided to increase cooperation in defense, infrastructure, and strategic sectors.

Referring to the content of the meeting, Tajani said: “Taking into account Prime Minister Babiš’s visit to Rome as well, we will work to further strengthen cooperation between Italy and the Czech Republic, creating new opportunities in strategic sectors such as defense and infrastructure.”
Tajani noted that regional and global security issues were also discussed during the meeting, stating: “We discussed Ukraine, Greenland, and critical minerals. We also reaffirmed once again that we are in solid cooperation between the EU and NATO.”
