Brekelmans: Ukraine can always rely on the Netherlands
Amsterdam, 29 January (Hibya) – Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans said during a meeting with Ukraine’s new Minister of Defence Fedorov that support for military equipment deliveries and F-16 operations will continue with determination.
Dutch Minister of Defence Ruben Brekelmans met with his Ukrainian counterpart Fedorov to discuss strategic defence issues.
Providing information on the content of the meeting, Brekelmans said: “We had an excellent meeting with Ukraine’s new Minister of Defence Fedorov. We are addressing Russia’s daily air attacks, our military equipment deliveries, industrial cooperation, and the support we provide for F-16 operations.”
Emphasising the Netherlands’ support for Ukraine, Brekelmans concluded his statement by saying: “Especially in difficult times, Ukraine can always rely on the Netherlands.”
