US President Donald Trump shared details of the phone call he held with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

Referring to the main topics of the conversation, Trump said: “I had a very productive phone call with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum. It went extremely well for both countries. A large part of the discussion focused on the border, drug trafficking, and preventing the drug trade.”

Signaling that face-to-face meetings will take place in the near future, Trump concluded his statement by saying:

“We will meet again soon and eventually hold meetings in our own countries. Mexico has a great and extremely intelligent leader – they should be very happy about that!”
