Albanese: Strong infrastructure and local employment in the Pacific will deliver better outcomes
Canberra, September 16 (Hibya) – Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese met with Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Masato Kanda in Papua New Guinea’s capital, Port Moresby.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that stronger infrastructure investments and creating more opportunities for the local workforce in the Pacific region would lead to more positive results overall.
Albanese also noted that potential business opportunities for Australian companies are being considered within the framework of ADB projects in the Pacific.
It was underlined that Australia is determined to continue cooperation with regional partners in pursuit of a safe and prosperous region.
