Tsahkna: UN report reveals Russia’s systematic crimes
Tallinn, May 30 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said the UN report confirms allegations that Ukraine has been making for a long time.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated in comments regarding the United Nations (UN) report on conflict-related sexual violence that the report confirms allegations long raised by Ukraine. Tsahkna argued that the accusations against Russia are not isolated incidents but systematic in nature.
Tsahkna said in his statement, “The UN report confirms the reality that Ukraine has documented for years; the crimes committed by Russia are not isolated but systematic.” Referring also to Russia’s inclusion on the list for crimes against children, Tsahkna said this was “an important step in the name of truth, justice, and undeniable accountability.”
The Estonian minister added that these developments also “make Russia’s blatant disregard for international law and human dignity even more visible.”
