Lazzarini: Violence by Israeli settlers is completely out of control
New York, March 28 (Hibya) - Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), said the situation in the West Bank is out of control.
UNRWA Commissioner-General Lazzarini stated that the situation in the West Bank is horrific.
Emphasizing that the violence by Israeli settlers has completely spiraled out of control, Lazzarini said: “We have also observed an acceleration in the expansion of settlements.”
Lazzarini added that as violence increases in the region, Palestinian refugees continue to face severe hardships in the occupied West Bank and Gaza.
