Kallas: Iran’s security forces are responsible for mass killings
Brussels, 29 January (Hibya) – The European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, said that Iran’s security forces are responsible for mass killings.
Speaking ahead of the Foreign Affairs Council, Kallas stated that Iran’s security forces are responsible for mass killings.
Noting that new sanctions have been imposed on those directly responsible for the violent suppression of protests that led to the deaths of thousands of people, Kallas said:
“I also expect foreign ministers to take a political decision to designate Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization by the EU. Because if you behave like a terrorist, you should be treated like a terrorist.”
