Zelensky and Donald Trump commemorated Victory Day against Nazism with the peoples of both countries.

The leaders welcomed the ratification of the economic partnership agreement between the two countries by the Ukrainian parliament and agreed on the importance of this historic agreement that offers many opportunities.

They also discussed the additional efforts needed to achieve peace and the concrete steps that could be taken toward that goal.

Zelensky informed President Trump about the battlefield situation and emphasized that Ukraine is ready for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and expects Russia to accept the proposal.

Trump confirmed he wants the war to end, is ready to help, and expressed support for the ceasefire.
