Zelensky stated that following the attacks on Iran's nuclear program facilities, there was a huge "uproar" from Moscow, saying, “The Russian leadership theatrically condemned these ‘missile and bomb’ acts. But today, Moscow is silent because this time the attack was carried out directly by the Russian army. It was a completely cynical attack on civilian infrastructure in Kyiv and other cities using Shahed drones and missiles jointly produced by Russia and Iran.”

He noted that five apartment buildings were damaged in Kyiv and six people were reported killed. “In Bila Tserkva, Kyiv region, a Shahed drone hit a hospital, killing one person. I offer my condolences to the families and loved ones of the deceased. Rescue teams are currently clearing the rubble and providing assistance wherever needed. The attack caused damage in four regions. A total of 352 drones were launched—159 Shahed drones and 16 missiles were used overnight alone.”

Zelensky added, “According to preliminary reports, ballistic missiles made by North Korea were also used. Our air defense units managed to shoot down many drones and missiles, but not all.”
