Minister Sybiha said that Kyiv is under heavy bombardment, residential areas were targeted, at least six people were killed, and many others were injured.

“While Putin talks about the attacks in the Middle East, Russia is rejecting U.S. peace efforts in Europe and continues killing in Ukraine,” said Sybiha, adding:

“Putin deliberately carries out such brutal attacks to portray America as weak. The only way to end Russian terror is to respond with force. New and harsh sanctions must be imposed on Russia’s economy and oil revenues, as well as secondary sanctions on those assisting Russia’s war. We must provide Ukraine with additional defense capabilities — especially air defense systems and interceptors, artillery ammunition, and investments in Ukraine’s defense industry.”
