Romanian Foreign Ministry calls for restraint
Bucharest, June 22 (Hibya) – The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed support for calls urging all regional actors to exercise maximum restraint and avoid provocative actions.
The Ministry emphasized that Iran's nuclear program violates its international obligations, undermines the global nuclear disarmament regime, and poses a threat to international security.
It stressed the need to halt this program, stating: "The recent actions by the United States aim to eliminate a serious threat to world peace. We are in close consultations with our NATO and EU allies and are ready to support a negotiated solution."
The Ministry joined calls for all actors in the region to exercise restraint and avoid provocations, adding: "The safety of Romanian citizens in the Middle East remains our top priority, and we continue to implement the most effective measures to protect them under the current conditions."
