Israeli artillery strike kills 9 Palestinian civilians in Gaza
Stockholm, June 23 (Hibya) – The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that late on Sunday, an Israeli artillery strike in the Al-Waha area northwest of Gaza City targeted people waiting for food aid, killing nine Palestinian civilians.
Due to Israel's restriction on foreign journalists entering the occupied territories, the report could not be independently verified.
Medical officials in Gaza say that in the past 12 days, around 450 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured in Israeli strikes targeting people waiting for food at distribution points recently opened by the U.S. and Israeli-backed “Gaza Humanitarian Aid Foundation.”
